We used bleaching oil to accelerate the aging process in this central Vermont residence designed for European clients. A courtyard was created through the use of a dramatic trellis, now growing with vines to shield the hot summer sun. In a more traditional mode, this house incorporates many vernacular elements of New England architecture while still maintaining a fresh new feel.
Cherry cabinetry and trim was carefully detailed and crafted in this Stowe, Vermont residence. From the lighting to the Italian tile, this kitchen was designed to be a beautiful yet practical space. It connects to a family room beyond through cherry columns and a gentle arch.
