This home on the coast of Maine was designed and built with an adirondack flavor and an abundant use of wood and tile. Many built-in cabinets and unique spaces contribute to its character and create a comfortable, delightful home. Skylights were used above the stairs which creates a brilliant glow and are perfect for airing out the house on those rare hot days of summer. The stairs were inspired by Japanese architecture with the cupboards below and arts and crafts railings above.
