This central Vermont site offered an expansive western view over many acres, and so we designed this home to take full advantage of the view and the sun (passive solar). The core of the house is a post and beam barn-like structure that soars up a full two stories which provides enough height for a lovely balcony overlooking the Living Room. Outside there are generous covered porches and plenty of room to garden and watch the seasons come and go.
